A Low-Key Christmas

We had a lovely, low-key Christmas around here. Lots of fun time with the kids as they played with their new toys, an incredible dinner with my family and my in-laws (and the best prime rib I’ve ever put together – I used this spice mixture and it’s officially becoming my go-to), and then more time hanging out, playing board games together and enjoying the day as we remembered Jesus’ birth.

I got a new computer for Christmas, so the next few days will be transferring files from the old to the new and trying to get used to all the inevitable differences. Hopefully it won’t take long and I’ll be up and running again in no time, because I’m at a pivotal point in my next book and I’m itching to get back to it. I can’t wait for you all to get a chance to read it!
