A Week of All Things Irish

Thursday is St. Patrick’s Day and what better reason to spend a week mulling some of my favorite things Irish? (And really, I don’t need much of a reason to do this. So there was no arm twisting involved.) As a bonus, since it is St. Patrick’s Day this week, I’ve put my Irish novella, Kinsale Kisses, on sale for just $0.99. If you’ve not read it, this is a great opportunity to do so! You can find buy-links for every platform on my books page.

Today, I think I’ll spotlight Coole Park. This was one of our happy “Oh, that looks lovely, let’s stop” discoveries on our second trip to Ireland. We spent a delightful afternoon roaming around, finishing with tea in their tea shop. Heavenly.

The autograph tree — many now-famous folk carved their names in the trunk. They’re still mostly legible today.

The swans of Coole Park made famous by Yeats. And also just a lovely place to sit and feel the breeze off the water.

  1. How beautiful! When I read Kinsale Kisses, I could just imagine how beautiful the scenery was. Hmmm, maybe I should re-read it for St. Patrick’s Day. πŸ™‚

    1. I hope you still love it if you do re-read. πŸ™‚ Ireland is simply stunning – even when it’s gray and rainy.
