A Week With the Cub Scouts

I’m off this morning, bright and early, with my boys to join in our Cub Scout District Day Camp. I’m approaching the prospect with a bit of trepidation – I’m a Den Walker, so basically I’ve signed up for a week of herding cats. And it’s going to be hot and miserable this week.

Here’s a fun fact about me: I hate summer.

So the fact that I’m going to willingly spend five days in the sun, heat, and humidity says just how much I love my boys. Cause given my druthers, I’d be in the A/C all the way.

Anyway, if you think of me, send up a prayer, would you? I can also get cranky when I get hot.
