For a little while now, I've been trying to up my game when it comes…
All Those Good Intentions
You know what they say all those good intentions are paving, yes? Well, I’ve added a mile or two to the road this past week. I planned to get the first chapter of A Pinch of Promise (the tentative title for Book 2 in the Taste of Romance series that starts up in March) polished up so that it could be included in the back of A Splash of Substance. Didn’t happen. I’m not hugely broken up about it because, well, I can always just put it up as a sneak peek here on the blog. But still.
I also intended to get the house a good deep clean last week (vs. my more usual tidy up as we go from thing to thing.) Yeah, that didn’t happen either. Maybe this week?
I need to go through the kids’ books and pull out the ones that they just don’t read and move them on to someone else (though it pains me to get rid of books, let me just say. But if they’re not getting read, well, someone else should be enjoying them.)
And I’ve been reading about the Little Free Libraries (have you heard of them?) And I would really love to find a place to put one, but I suspect the HOA would say no (they’re pretty annoying)…plus I don’t actually need one more thing to work into my life. But it’d be cool, wouldn’t it?
And and and and …it just feels like a whole bunch has been piling on and getting pushed to the side lately. You ever feel like that?
Anyway, here’s to a new week that, hopefully, will be full of productivity rather than intentions.

I call it my Perpetual List – items that get bumped from one week to the next til I [finally] check them off!! I did, at least, create a calendar for myself so I’m not working from random and miscellaneous [and misplaced] slips of paper…..
Oh the random and miscellaneous pieces of paper! I keep everything in my daytimer, but I still end up with sticky notes all over the place, too 🙂
