Book Review: One Choice

onechoiceI recently had the opportunity to read One Choice by Ginger Solomon. It’s a modern-day take on the arranged royal marriage – and because of that, I suspect that lovers of contemporary and historical romance will enjoy it. (There were several times I had to stop and remind myself that this was modern day – it could very easily have been in the time of Lawrence of Arabia.)

This is a book that will have you both rooting for and wanting to strangle the main characters at times. I don’t necessarily feel that’s a bad thing – it means you’re invested in them! (Though I will say I wish some of the more mature characters who were watching the hero and heroine be idiots would’ve stepped in sooner. We all benefit from those mature influences in our lives – and Cahri and Josiah needed them more than most.)

If you’re looking for a new romance, this would be a great addition to your shelf.
