Busy Busy!

Hey look! I didn’t space and forget to get a post set up this time. I can’t believe I missed two of my regular days (in a row!) To those of you who actually look for content here, I’m sorry. My excuse is that, well, life happened.

By the end of VBS last week, I was just done. But I didn’t even have a weekend of recuperation to look forward to, because Saturday was our first annual ACFW-Virginia One-Day Conference. And, as I’m the board President for the chapter, I was pretty heavily involved in that. Plus I did one of the sessions. That said, the conference went really well (I think – and it looks like, by and large, the participants did too). This is always encouraging. And hey, now it’s done.

But wait, there’s more! Cause with the end of July looming (and seriously, when did this happen?!) we’re looking at the start of school which, in my world, means the start of Awana. So on Sunday after church I spent some time organizing the supply closet and trying to figure out estimates for the number of clubbers we can expect and so forth because I need to get my big supply order placed this week (um…yeah, this week that’s almost over) to get free shipping. (And that adds up, let me tell you.)

And this is why I spaced on the blogging. Lots going on in my writing life as well – look for a post on Friday telling you a bit about that!
