For a little while now, I've been trying to up my game when it comes…
Busy Days Ahead
I’m not sure why I can’t seem to schedule the end of the school year better. You’d think, given that we homeschool, that I would manage to alleviate some of the stress of this time of year. And yet, as we’re tiptoeing into June, I realize that this week is going to be crazy. And I have to wonder why (and how!) I do this to myself every year.
Last night was our final Awana night for the year. That means that this week I need to get the database all caught up and order all the awards and get ready for the award ceremony next week. This wouldn’t be too big of a deal, except that our state requires end of year tests for homeschooled kids and I didn’t think clearly when I told them the dates I’d be doing this. Guess when.
If you said this week, you win!
And then I’d like to do a little planning for the launch of A Pinch of Promise next week, too.
We’ll see how much I can get done. I do have a little leeway on the testing, so it might get bumped. The awards are the biggest priority right now.
So bear with me – and if you think of me during the week and want to shoot up a prayer for calm and organization, I’d appreciate it.
