For a little while now, I've been trying to up my game when it comes…

Decisions, Decisions
In just a few short weeks (and really, they’re the same length week as ever, but I know they’re going to fly by) I will be heading down south to the gorgeous North Carolina mountains to attend the Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writer’s Conference. I mentioned this before here, and I’ve been gearing my introverted self up to be outgoing and personable. I’ve also been looking at the conference schedule and trying to decide what workshops to attend.
I’m a little annoyed with the conference planners, honestly, there are just too many good options to choose from. (And of course many of them meet simultaneously, so unless I can figure a way to split myself into multiple pieces or clones or something between now and then, I’m going to have to choose.) Decision making on this scale has never been my strong suit.
The conference website had a good post on choosing your sessions awhile ago, and following their directions certainly helped some. Looking through, I was able to eliminate several sessions that just don’t interest me at this stage of the game. So yay! But that still leaves me with three or four options in each time slot that I need to decide between. And in one of the slots, all of the options are continuing workshops, so once I make that decision, I’ll need to stick with it for the duration. (At least that’s my understanding – I guess it’s possible you could skip around, but I suspect they frown on it, at a minimum.)
At this point, I figure I have two good options. 1) Let my sister choose for me. She’s older and loves to tell me what I should do (as older sisters do). That said, she usually has really good advice, so it’s much less annoying now that we’re grown than it was when we were kids. 2) Concoct some sort of dice toss/spinning wheel/dart game and go with random.
I have some time to decide, but I like to have my ducks in a row and not having this reasonably nailed down in my mind is eating at me. Anyone out there going and want to share their choices? I’d love the input.
