For a little while now, I've been trying to up my game when it comes…
Dreaming of Vacation
Now that we’ve had our big snow (and really, I enjoyed it!), I’m starting to dream of vacation. I still am yearning for a trip overseas — Scotland is high on my list, though I wouldn’t say no to Ireland again or, well, anywhere, really. But with the kids the ages they are, hubby and I agree that it’s best to wait. The youngest turns four this week and…he wouldn’t get anything out of a trip like that yet. And we’d probably get less out of it than we’d like since we’d be spending time catering to him most of the time.
So that leaves local (and local-ish) places. Which are good, too.
But I thought it’d be fun to ask (since I think it’s been a while since I did so), where you dream of vacationing. And if you want to throw out where you’ll likely end up vacationing instead, I’d love to hear it!
Let’s talk vacations!

One place on my bucket list to visit is Key West Florida. Hopefully my husband and I along with two other couples will travel in our RVs from Alabama and visit there sometime this summer.
Oh, I’d love to get to the Keys! Of course, I’d need to get a refresher on my diving certification first!
We often vacation near Cape Cod, MA, but for my husband that is going home. We also like San Juan Island in Washington State; and Coeur d’Alene, ID, which for me is going home. We enjoyed Mystic, CT, and Schoodic, MA; and, before we moved here, our favorite place to vacation was Kailua Kona, HI.
Oooh. Cape Cod is on my want to see list! And Nantucket. San Juan Island is gorgeous – that’s one I’ve actually been to.
