For a little while now, I've been trying to up my game when it comes…

Fun Tidbits
Yesterday was a pretty exciting day around here. Not only did I get the contract for book 3 in the Grant Us Grace series (working title Serenity to Accept) but I also got a sneak peak at the advanced reader copy (ARC) for book 2 (Courage to Change – releasing in April)!
For my first book (Wisdom to Know) the publisher did e-galleys/ARCs, so I haven’t yet had a chance to hold a book with my name on it (I should get my author copies soonish, but they just haven’t hit yet.) So, even though it’s book two, let me just say there is nothing in the world quite like holding a book you wrote – it really drives home the fact that hey, this is real!
Getting a contract is nearly as exciting – because it takes the things you’ve been kicking around with your publisher and makes them official. With due dates and everything. (Due dates that mean I need to get my nose back on the grindstone if I’m going to make the deadline for book 3.)
My husband keeps asking me what I want for Christmas. After yesterday, I’m not sure what else I could possible need.
