Getting Back to Normal

Now that my book release is done, my spur-of-the-moment flash sale on Operation Romance is almost over (it’s free through tomorrow if you haven’t gotten it), and we’ve finished our required end-of-year testing for homeschooling, I feel like I can take a deep breath and just let things settle for a minute.

We had a busy weekend on top of the week (but it was busy with friends, which is never as bad as busy with work type things), and the kids are both still showing signs of a few too many late nights in a row. So I think this week is going to be a return to what passes for normal around here.

Even though we’re done with our testing, we still have a bit of math to finish up before my eldest is “officially” done with second grade. I don’t know that we’ll finish that this week, but we should get it done by the end of May.

We’ll take some time off in June then ease back in to the start of 3rd grade. And “official” pre-school for the youngest. But for now? I’m looking forward to a laid-back week.
