Getting in the Christmas Spirit

I mentioned, I think, that I’m part of a boxed set of Christmas novellas with some writer friends this year, right? Well, the fun(?) thing about Christmas books is that, if you want them to come out around Christmas, you have to get them written outside of the Christmas season (or, I guess you could sit on something for a year.) And so I’ve been struggling to put myself into the Christmas spirit as the temperatures here climb ever higher and summer reveals itself in all its hot, sticky, and miserable glory. (Not a summer fan, did you notice?)

Still, I did a little brainstorming with my sister and I think have a pretty decent gist put together. So hopefully it’ll all fall into place and there will be gladness and joy before much longer.
