For a little while now, I've been trying to up my game when it comes…
Happy (Belated) Thanksgiving and a Few Announcements
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving (well, all of you in the US at least – I know it’s not an international holiday) and got to spend some time with you families thinking about the blessings God has given you. We had a lovely time with my family and my in-laws. I love that they all get along with one another and we’re able to just have a big, hearty time together in one place. I typically do the cooking (I love it, no one else does, so why make people who don’t like it do it?) This year, I used the New Mexico Magazine menu with a few substitutions and it was delicious. Just the right hint of spiciness to make it reminiscent of NM, but all the usual standards as well.
Don’t forget that the HopeSprings Books Advent giveaways begin on Monday! The first stop is right here with me and, if I can get my act together, I’ll be sharing a little vignette around Matt and Laura’s first Christmas together. Commenters will be entered for a chance to win a free download of Joint Venture.
And that’s the other big thing – Joint Venture will release on Sunday, December 1st! I can’t wait for Matt and Laura’s short novel to be out there for folks to read. I had such a good time writing it.
Also, I’ll be putting out my newsletter on Sunday as well – if you’ve not signed up for it, you can do that in the sidebar (there’s a link). I’ll have a special contest for subscribers only in there.
Now I’m off to find a piece of pie.
