Happy President’s Day

We’re not huge Valentine’s Day celebrators around here, but I do love President’s Day. I remember the fun we had in elementary school focusing on George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and learning about the great things they did for our country. I’ll admit, I’m a little sad that it’s morphed into a day for “all Presidents past and present.” Here in our homeschool, it’s still just Washington and Lincoln. (Which isn’t to say we don’t study the other Presidents, we do. We just focus on these two on President’s day. We might also go see the new Star Wars movie.)
