Ireland Wouldn’t Be Complete Without Stone Crosses

I love so much about Ireland, but one of the things that strikes you almost immediately is how history stands right next to the modern when you turn your head. And the stone crosses that crop up all over are, to me, a lovely example of exactly that. They range in height from three(ish) feet to giants that tower over you an top out at 16 feet. And every one is, I think, an individual work of art.
