It’s a Little Crazy Around Here

This is going to be short because it’s been a little crazy with VBS this week and I haven’t had time to sit and put together a post that’s useful, entertaining, or interesting. I will say I’m working to bring you a video blog on Friday – I just need to get a few kinks in the process figured out.

In the meantime, I’ll leave you with an amusing anecdote from VBS.  It was a conversation between me and a little boy.

LB: Can you ask God to make things real?
Me: Absolutely! You can pray and ask God for things, but you might not always get them. Sometimes He has better things for us than what we think we want.
LB: But can He make things real?
Me: Maybe I don’t understand…LB: I want Sonic to be real. Can God do that?
Me: Sonic? (thinking the restaurant but confused because it is real)
LB: He’s really fast, and fun. And I want him to be real.
Me: Oh…Sonic the Hedgehog…I don’t think God is going to make him real. You’ll just have to stick with him being in a video game, sorry.
