Minecraft Party Extravaganza

My eldest turned eight this past week and so…tomorrow is his birthday party. As I think all boys of this age are, he’s very into Minecraft and so our party will be Minecraft themed. I have grand plans for activities to do…I’m not sure if I’ll be able to pull them all off, but that’s half the fun.

We also invite parents and siblings to hang out during birthday parties if they want — so we’re expecting almost 30 people all told. That’ll fluctuate some, I’m sure, with last minute cancellations and parents who change their mind and decide to drop off instead. But I love it when everyone stays — last year I think the parents had just as much fun as the kids did.

The weather has been unseasonably warm, so I’m kind of hoping that stays the case — then we have the option of throwing everyone in the back yard to run around if they get too rowdy.
