Miscellaneous Thoughts

So, yet another Friday without a book review. Yet again not for want of reading, but really more from not having much to say about what’s been read. And so there are but a few miscellaneous thoughts to share.

First, under really quite exciting but I’m trying to be cool til it’s all official – I may have some publication news to share soon.

Next, I’m making great strides on the new book. The July goal is helping and, so far, I’ve made all my words (plus a bit) each day. 50K seems most definitely within my grasp. Provided the momentum continues, of course.

Finally, I hope everyone had a great 4th of July and that you’re managing to stay cool. (That’s only a high point in my mind since it’s blisteringly hot around here these days – somewhat unseasonably – and I feel like I should constantly be walking around shrieking I’m Melllltiiiiiinnnnnggggg. Cause that’s how I feel. I dislike the heat. Greatly.)
