Need Some Help With A Series Name

So next year, I’ll be releasing two books in a new series. The series centers around the restoration of an old house and turning it into conference center/wedding venue type business. I’m planning for the titles to all follow the format A Heart Re______, with the first book (a novella) being A Heart Restored.

So with that in mind, I’ve been struggling to come up with a series title and I can only come up with a few options, none of which really make my heart sing (which could just mean I’ve been thinking about them too long). That said, here are my thoughts — I’d love to know which catches your eye or if you have another option to toss in the ring!

  • Restoration Romance (so it would be Restoration Romance Book 1 etc)
  • Shenandoah Sweethearts
  • Romance Restored
  • Peacock Hill Romance (the name of the house is Peacock Hill)

  2. How about Renovation Romance and each book starting with “A Romance…” Like A Romance Repaired or A Romance Reclaimed or A Romance Restored.

  6. What about “Romance Under Construction: A Heart Restored” or similar format? I love “Restoration Romance” too, but I think it’s too similar to the titles you’ve chosen, and might get repetitive if you use it 5 or 6 times! Plus you could put fun construction tape & tools on your covers!

    1. It’s okay to be the odd one, Robin 🙂 At least you still get to read about Peacock Hill in the book. (And I can see the draw of naming it after the house — it would allow the series to extend beyond the renovation aspects a little more easily.)

  9. I agree Romance Under Construction sounds awesome. I was going to suggest Restoring Hearts before I read that one.

    1. I like Restoring Hearts. But I really am drawn to the Romance Under Construction idea. So many good suggestions today!

  11. I love Terri’s suggestion! Romance Under Construction! I was going to suggest something like Reconstructed Hearts, or Reconstructed Romance.
