On Inspiration

I was asked to write about inspiration for a guest post. You can see what I have to say over on Andrea Cox’s Writing to Inspire blog. I’ve ruminated along similar lines here before, but it’s always an enjoyable exercise for me to try to put those thoughts to paper. (It’s a slightly more writer-centric blog, but she has some fun interviews and guest posts as well, so it’s worth a visit now and again as you have time!)

I’ll admit that, when asked about inspiration, my first thought tends to be the quote attributed to Thomas Edison that genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. That said, there’s a neat list of quotes about inspiration on Goodreads.
