Pull Up a Seat at the Table

A little over a year ago, I had the joy of meeting Harmony Harkema. She used to live nearby and joined in our monthly writing gatherings when she could. But before long, as is so often the case in this area, she’d moved to Tennessee for her husband’s work. But, as we’ve kept in touch a bit via Facebook, she invited me to consider being a part of a new project she and some friends were putting together: The Glorious Table.

You can pop over and see what it’s all about, though it’s not live yet — October 1st is the official launch.

I’m looking forward to being a contributor and member of their community (though they got a larger response than they’d anticipated from the folks they invited, so I won’t actually have a contribution in October, though the peeks I’ve gotten at what will be there look delightful.)

I hope you’ll consider subscribing to the feed (this will email the posts to you each day) and joining in via comment and on the Facebook page they’ll be incorporating. It is, I believe, going to be a wonderful place for women to come, share their heart, and be heard.
