So. Hot.

We are having a fun, but melty, time at Cub Scout Day Camp this week. I’m thrilled that we’ve got the two hottest days (at least so far as the weather forecasters are saying) out of the way. Now it’s just a matter of seeing if we get to have our full week or if the thunderstorms they’re promising mean it gets cancelled.

I’m assuming they don’t keep kids out at camp during thunderstorms. Maybe I’m wrong.

Regardless. I’m glad I’m doing it as my eldest is having an absolute ball. But gosh. The heat. I think I’m good as far as going outside for the rest of the summer.

But – I promise this will be my last whine about the heat. And I’m thinking cool thoughts and working away at my Christmas novella – dreaming of snow definitely helps keep things moving along!
