For a little while now, I've been trying to up my game when it comes…
So. Hot.
I’m not a fan of summer. At least, not here in Virginia. In August. When inevitably it turns into some sort of sweltering oven. Honestly, it’s as if you’re living in the middle of the sun.
Except there’s probably less humidity on the surface of the sun. So it would feel cooler.
This weekend we were in the 105 range with a heat index well above 115. Just yuck.
Thankfully, summer days like that are generally few and far between, but I’m so ready for fall.
What’s it like where you are? Are you surviving the heat?

It has been hot here too in the 100’s for several days. However today and through the weekend it is supposed to cool down to the 80’s with a chance of rain. When it is so hot, I stay in as much as I can.
I don’t think we have that kind of relief in sight. But hopefully you’ll enjoy your little break!
Yuck, is right! We’re not too far behind you here in Ohio. It’s been in the 90’s, and so humid all summer. We barely had any rain, but it finally rained last Saturday and has rained at some point every day since then. I got excited over the weather report last night because they are calling for temps to be in the high 50’s at night, and 70’s during the day next week. Yes! I am ready for fall!
Oh! I want to come visit you next week! I’m ready for fall, too.
