This and That

I’ve got a few new things going on around here in blog-land (mostly in an effort to be more consistent with posting.)

First, I’ve joined the Clash of the Titles Blog Alliance. So I’ll have a weekly post related to that going on (new contests, revealing the winners, etc. Look for the first one tomorrow!) I’ve found several new authors and books that I’ve enjoyed through their contest. I hope it provides the same thing for you.

Second, I’m going to try to be more diligent about book reviews. I certainly read enough books that I can be posting reviews, I just found myself in a bit of a dilemma regarding the wisdom of posting them (even if they’re positive). But I think I’ve reconciled the issue now, and am going to resume that this week as well (probably keep them on Fridays unless it’s something incredible and amazing that I just have to share right now.)

Finally, I’m trying to focus my blogging here on readers. There are a zillion blogs out there for writers, and while I can’t promise I’m not going to pontificate on writing here and there, my goal is to make my blog a place to interact with my (eventual) readers. (I know this is tough currently as my book isn’t out yet – but I still want to interact with you!) So, on that note…do you have any questions you’d like me to answer? Any topics you’d like to have my opinion on? What types of things would be interesting for you, the reader of this blog? Let me know in the comments!
