For a little while now, I've been trying to up my game when it comes…
What I’ve Been Reading Lately
If you follow things over on InspyRomance at all, you’ll know February was a great month for new releases by our Inspy authors. And, as I love reading books by those lovely ladies, it was a good month for reading, as well. So I thought I’d highlight three February releases that I particularly enjoyed.
An Informal Arrangement by Heather Gray
Heather is quickly becoming a top of the pile must read author. I really enjoy this series (this is book 2) that began in the Love’s Gift boxed set with An Informal Christmas. An Informal Arrangement introduces us to Holden and Maddie, both beautifully flawed characters who grow delightfully over the course of the book.
Island Hope by Kimberly Rose Johnson
This is book four of Kimberly’s Wildflower B&B series and is a delightful return to Wildflower island. It may well be my favorite installment (though I guess I should go back and re-read the others just to be sure. 😉 ) I love feisty and yet wounded Hope – she was the kind of book character you wish was real and could be your friend.
Last but not least, Berry on Top by Valerie Comer.
It’s no secret that I adore Valerie’s books and Berry on Top is a fabulous conclusion to the Farm Fresh Romance series set at Green Acres. Usually, it’s Valerie’s heroines who catch and hold my attention and keep the pages turning, but with Berry on Top, it was Mason. He’s a bad-boy turned good–and you’ll find yourself rooting for him all along the way. I’m sad to see the folks at Green Acres moving on, but I’m looking forward to the Urban Farm Fresh series that’s coming next.
