Writing Tidbits

I did promise a quick update on my writing. So here you go. I’m finished with a Christmas novella that I’ve tentatively titled Operation Mistletoe. (It’s almost out of tentative status – I just need to live with it a little longer and be sure I love it. I think I do — do you like it? Titles are hard for me.) I’ve sent it off to my fabulous critique partner and once I have her feedback, I’ll send it to another of the authors in the boxed set that it’s slated for (we’re trading) and then I need to figure out a cover for it.

I’ve been mentally prepping for diving into A Dash of Daring. That’s Zach and Amy’s story and I really do plan to get it out later this year – so keep your eyes peeled! I’m excited about jumping in to that when I can get Christmas off my slate. (But also there are two other men in the novella who are begging for their own stories, so I need to figure out a series name for that and schedule some time to give them words. So many couples seeking romance in my head, so little time.)

I’ve also been working on an article for the Book Fun Magazine August issue. I’m excited about being included there and hope that it’s something readers enjoy. That’s almost ready to go as well.

Finally…I’m re-covering A Splash of Substance and A Pinch of Promise. As much as I love the original covers, I think they’re probably not doing the stories inside justice and that just isn’t something I’m okay with. So…if you want to see the new cover (at least for Splash, possibly also for Pinch if I can figure it out), be sure to tune in over on InspyRomance next Saturday. (Don’t worry, I’ll remind you.)
