Book Review: Love Simplified
Love Simplified is delightful debut romance from author Terri J. Haynes. It chronicles the adventures of Tempest Day, a college counselor and would-be celebrity matchmaker as she is dared to put the principles of her best selling self-help book (Love Simplified) into practice…on a reality TV show. Despite the fact that Tempest is convinced she’s incapable of falling in love, she gives it a go because her dreams of celebrity matchmaking are on the line. Enter Lance Moretti, the yummy producer of the show with a strict anti-fraternization policy.
Haynes’ writing is a joy to read. Tempest, in particular, comes alive on the page. And while Lance is definitely yummy, I found myself just wishing Tempest and I could be pals. She has a quick wit and quicker tongue that often get her in trouble. In addition to a fun love story, Love Simplified has an encouraging message about family relationships and the undeserved but never-fading love of the Father.
5 stars.

A thousand thank yous for this post! I just finished the book (in less than 24 hours!) and it made my weekend memorable. I love romantic comedies, watching and reading. Although some parts were cliche, there were a few that made me giddy inside because I actually like them. I’m going to write a review on Amazon like you did…
