EBook Pricing

Saw this on Novel Rocket the other day (one of many things sitting in my RSS reader waiting for me to have time to get to them) and thought it interesting. I’d love to know your thoughts.

I know for myself, I’ve paid $14.99 — recently even. But I’ll tell you, it irked me. Greatly. And I only paid it because I knew I’d enjoy the mindless brain candy that it was buying. If I’d had even the slightest doubt, I’d’ve waited for the paperback version of the dead tree version to come out (which then tends to lower the Kindle price). Did I enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed spending $14.99 other ways? On the fence about that – it was good, but I’ll feel better about the cost if my mom, who shares my Kindle account, reads it too.
