I Love Typing “The End”

This weekend, I finally got to the very end of Operation Back-to-School. That’s always such a good feeling!

Fun fact: I don’t actually type the words “the end” at the end of my manuscripts, but I do have a number of author friends who do. Either way? It feels good.

There’s still quite a bit of editing and cover work and so forth to get to, but you can’t do any of that until you have a finished draft. Overall, I’m very pleased with the story. It’s a little departure for me in some ways (nothing huge), but I think you’ll enjoy it all the same. It’s also the last in the Operation Romance series, so I tried to make sure I tied up all the couples’ stories.

Even more fun? I found the hero for a stand-alone novella that I’ll be writing for a spring box set.

All in all, a productive weekend.
