For a little while now, I've been trying to up my game when it comes…
Signing Books at DC Fest
I spent the bulk of Saturday at DCFest – a concert featuring Third Day, 10th Avenue North, Mandisa, and several other delightful Christian bands. My publisher had a table and, as I live near, I got to sit and sign my books as well.
Though I’m not sure it was the best venue for books, the people I met were lovely and I enjoyed having the chance to interact with them. Plus, I got to hear the concert from a nice enough distance that my ears weren’t ringing when we left (honestly, I’m apparently approaching the “too old” category of the old saying “if it’s too loud, you’re too old.”)
Anyway, if you weren’t able to swing by and you’re local, I’ll be participating in the Book Lover’s Bazaar on the 13th of September – they’ve changed the venue from the Lorton Workhouse Arts Center to Tackett’s Mill – I’ll update with more details when I have them.
